SOMEWHERE SINGING IN SIDLESHAM…

Loved our little chord building warm up today as we sang the first phrases of

Somewhere over the rainbow, holding onto different notes all around the room – didn’t it sound lovely?!....

Thoroughly enjoyed teaching you all Ezatale – the Sengalese catchy little round… we will definitely do that again next week, it’s so catchy, anyone else got a new ear worm?....

Now….. I am setting a challenge for next week…. We are going to try standing in a tight circle and sing Jolene with …..wait for it…. No words! , I don’t care if we fluff some of the words, I just really want you to try and sing it all the way through, watching me and listening to everyone else in the room… It’s sounding so nearly perfect, I just want you to enjoy it a bit more, and really sing it together. What could go wrong?...

Up on the roof is getting there, listening back (which I really to recommend you do too) I can hear that there are still sections that are proving tricky, I think this may be that you are not 100% certain of your notes, please, if you have a chance, have a listen and a sing through and mark where you are struggling so that we can work on those bits. But well done…

Loved teaching you the chorus for FOREVER COUNTRY, our new medley of Country Roads, on the road again and I will always love you. Can’t wait to get our teeth really stuck in to this, so please print out the words and be ready for next week, along with the words for ONE VOICE.

Two more weeks and then a break. It looks like we may have enough people to run the three sessions after I get back from my holiday, on the 31st March and up to Easter, so watch this space.

You’re all fab – thank you from the bottom of my heart as always B ☺ x
