WHEN YOU'RE ALL SINGING TOGETHER, IT BRINGS THINGS TOGETHER

 

How lovely that we managed to learn the first part of the beautiful song

“Only remembered” which I think was a very apt and beautiful way to start off, what became, a very special evening of singing together. We will definitely put this song into our songbank for next Autumn, so that we can have it fully learnt ready for next year’s Remembrance Day.

 

What followed was a really lovely session, we really polished and performed Barbara Ann, I loved the way we all came together for this, I could see your confidence growing right in front of me. Well done ☺

 

We then had a listen to the two winners of the choir’s chosen songs for next term – I shall be ordering the music over the next couple of weeks for you to purchase. Two very different songs – they’re going to be a lot of fun to learn, and pretty emotional too.

 

After the break we continued working on The Chain, and this is really knitting together now, so well done all of you – this is going to be such a special song for us to learn and perform, keep going!

 

Finishing off with the sublime – From somewhere deep inside by James Rose – I’m loving this – be prepared for more and more as we explore our voices and our capabilities of making glorious sounds. When we’re singing together, it brings things together.
