FEELING HOT! HOT! HOT!

The atmosphere at this evening’s session was definitely warm, welcoming, and full of energy. This was our last “normal” session, and we did brilliantly singing The Chain all the way through. Please, please, please keep listening and practising while I’m recovering from my op, so we can hit the ground running as soon as I’m fit enough to come back—hopefully towards the end of February.

We then moved on to our Christmas songs. OK, we didn’t quite manage to finish them… maybe next year? 😊
And weren’t this week’s birthday karaoke choices absolute bangers?! Huge congratulations to Andrea, Karen and Diane for choosing such fun songs.

I’m really looking forward to next week’s Christmas sing-along, with drinks and nibbles. Don’t forget to dig out your Christmas sparkles—festive jumpers welcome but not compulsory. Bring your favourite tipple and a glass. You should all know what food you're bringing; if you need a reminder, Lisa has popped it on the WhatsApp group.

All you need to do now is tell Gel your favourite song, and she’ll accompany us for a big festive sing-along. Please also bring some £1 coins for our potato raffle! Courtesy of the lovely Mary—your chance to win a 10kg bag of delicious local tatties, perfect for the Christmas break.

We’ll also be doing our special candlelight sing to raise money for Marfan Syndrome, with a collection box available. Don’t forget your words for Make You Feel My Love and Lift Me Up (and probably a box of tissues).

We’ve got some great new songs lined up for next term. As soon as I know more about what’s happening, I’ll be in touch—so keep an eye on the WhatsApp group and on this page.

You are all truly wonderful. See you next week and, if not, have a very merry Christmas. See you in the New Year—hopefully with a much better conducting arm! 😊 xxx
